About

Four friends, four continents, four months, four posts a week.

Who are they and who flung them?
Before they were flung far, four ladies used to live in the inner-West of Sydney, sharing a love of craft, chin-wags and the neighbourly pop-in. Love, work, adventure and tax breaks sent them to the four corners of the world - Karen to Singapore, Justyna to Krakow, Beth to Vancouver and Tabitha to… Well she just stayed in
Sydney.  The geographical distance makes the pop-in more difficult these days, so the Far Flung Four now meet once a week to each write a post on a theme. The theme is communal and shared by all four, but their take on it is shaped by their own locale.

How does it work?

At the beginning of the project, the four participants each devised five different themes for everyone to write about. Each week, a theme is randomly chosen (by no less than a random number generator!), and throughout the week the participants’ posts are published to the blog one by one. There are twenty themes, and so twenty weeks, which is as long as the project will last.
